Pine Point Beach

Pine Point Beach (Hurd Park) in Scarborough extends for four miles along Saco Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, from the jetty at the mouth of the Scarborough River to Old Orchard Beach. You'll find plenty of room to relax on the beach, swim, play Frisbee or catch, or take a stroll along the beach to search for shells and driftwood. Surfing and surfcasting are also popular here.

You'll find parking, restrooms, showers for rinsing, and a concession stand that sells snacks and cold drinks in a large paved lot just beyond the dunes on Avenue 5 off King Street. Dogs are not allowed on the beach from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
