Swan House is a small, intimate Inn nestled at the foot of scenic Mt. Battie. This 1870 victorian offers a private haven in a lovely, quiet setting. Being located in the residential village, away from the busy, non-stop Rte 1 traffic, Swan House could be considered one of Camden's best kept secrets. A short walk down the hill leads to the picturesque harbor, unique and interesting shops and excellent restaurants. Six guest rooms all with private bath and tastefully decorated. A delicious breakfast is served on the glass enclosed front porch. Relax and unwind in one of the parlors or discover the shaded gazebo. Hike the many trails of Camden Hills State Park, one of which starts directly behind the Inn and leads to Mt. Battie's summit.
