Our little slice of heaven is too beautiful not to share. We're not in the busy town of Bar Harbor, but offer many reasons to escape the town for the tranquility of the Lamoine shore, 21 miles away. Our SeaCat's Rest ocean-side suite is not for everyone; it is not within walking distance of shopping or restaurants. It is an affordable, family friendly, spacious, quiet ocean edge retreat, removed from the bustle of Acadia but close enough for a spontaneous visit. If you are looking for affordable luxury and attention to detail, a cross between a cramped hotel and an expensive separate house, a full cook's kitchen and your own uncluttered view of and access to the North Atlantic, we are your destination on the Maine coast.

- Hours We are available year 'round but winter visitors must be ready to wait for snow plowing. Warm months fill up fast, so if you are thinking of a visit, think of it the winter before. Spring and fall parts of our calendar are more open....usually. Should you find an available time, please bear in mind that we require three day's advance warning and a three day minimum stay.
