The Maysville Museum

A small, interactive history museum

This museum, located at 165 Caribou Road (corner of US 1 North and the Brewer Road) is owned and operated by Presque Isle Historical Society. The four cornerstone exhibits include The Aroostook War, Presque Isle & the Civil War, Agri-CULTURE, and Presque Isle's Rural One-Room Schoolhouses. Smaller exhibits include a working antique telephone switchboard, "What is it", and more. There is also a gift shop. No admission fee. Suitable for all ages. No public restroom. Opens for 2021 season on Saturday, June 5. Hours 10 - 2.
