Indian and Forest Acres summer camps have been on one of the countries most popular recreational rivers (The Saco) since 1924! Baseball, softball, basketball, tennis, lacrosse, flag football, archery, golf, soccer, drama, art, ceramics, photo and video, a complete array of water sports including a water trampoline, three waterfronts including Olympic-style pools, ropes course, climbing wall, zip lines, hiking, 3-4 day camping trips and a nationally known horseback riding program, highlight the program. These unique brother-sister camps are located 2 miles apart in Maine’s White Mountain region. Building community and teaching independence surround a 92-year history of caring for children and is a perfect example of traditional camping.
