The Great Outdoors Recreational Function Facility
Our 60-acre, family-run business on Pleasant Pond in Turner offers short-term and long-term seasonal cottage rentals and a function facility perfect for your next family or business gathering. Weddings and receptions are our specialty; dozens are held here each year. Our classic Maine lodge comfortably seats 250 people (maximum capacity is 295). Our full-service kitchen awaits your caterer or potluck meals. We also offer outdoor amenities including: a huge sandy beach and swimming area; canoe/kayak rentals; a volleyball area; tennis; softball; and horseshoe pits. Take your pick! Cottage rentals can be combined with a function rental or can be rented by themselves. Fiddlehead Cottage, which sleeps 17, is perfect for family reunions.
