Sited in a natural setting of trees, with ducks, birds and other wildlife, it's only 1 mile to the entrance to Acadia National Park and 4 miles to downtown Bar Harbor. This spot appeals to those who enjoy a quiet coastal island retreat tucked away, but not remote from all of the activities that make Maine such a great vacation spot. Free Island-wide shuttle service easily accessed, to head out for a day of hiking, swimming, sea kayaking, biking, shopping, sightseeing, and lots more.
