Collective Motion

Collective Motion, the winner of the 2009 League of Young Voters Artist Award, was established in 2006 by Artistic Director, Jennifer Bourgeault. Collective Motion is a modern, innovative company of artistic dance based in Southern Maine, which embraces and furthers the spirit of the collaborative arts through the promotion of area dancers in roles of both performer and choreographer. The company seeks to be a vessel for artistic fusion, working within and blending different realms of dance. CM has shared work with audiences throughout New England at Portland Dances, Franco-American/Bates Dance Show, New England Dance Project, Modern Feats, and the Dance Complex Shared Choreographers' Series in Boston, as well as self-produced shows.
