Captain A.V. Nickels Inn
Built as a sea captain's home in 1874, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and located oceanside in Searsport. The Inn has been completely renovated and now offers 8 luxury rooms for overnight guests, as wall as fine dining and a tapas bar/lounge open to the public. The mansion is filled with European, English, and American period antiques, and offers a comfortable place to relax by cozy fires, sunny outside decks and porches. All guest rooms include private baths, flat-screen TVs, coffee service, sumptuous bedding, three course gourmet breakfasts, and wine/cheese in the evening. Some have fireplaces, kitchenettes, and decks overlooking the Penobscot Bay.
