Women's Wilderness Paddling Adventure

7/12/22 - 7/15/22

If you like remote lakes, 4000’ mountains, sand beaches, and clear refreshing water then this trip is for you!

We will be travelling by tandem and single kayak. At night we may camp on our own private island or on a remote mainland site. With no light pollution the night sky is amazing. An evening stargazing paddle will allow us to be surrounded by the intensity and brightness of the stars. If the wind is in our favor perhaps an afternoon of kayak sailing is in order. Join us for an incredible journey to to the Mooselookmeguntic region…it is wild, remote and extremely beautiful!

Food will be made from fresh local ingredients. We will be cooking over fires, baking in dutch ovens and cooking on traditional stoves. Dietary restrictions are always accommodated!

No paddling experience is necessary. We will teach you how to properly paddle and load a kayak for extended travel.

We will meet at the Stephen Phillips Preserve in Oquossoc, Maine at 9:00am on July 12 and will return by 4:00pm on July 15.
