Tom and Diane Acousti, owners of Ground Floor, Freeport, invite you to a free concert to celebrate the reopening of GFF and Tom’s 60th birthday! With only an acoustic guitar, piano, and voice, Tom will dive into his 40 year song catalog with new perspective in this high energy, live, recorded performance.
Tom Acousti is best known for creating timeless songs for modern times and delivering them straight to your heart. During his 40 year career in the performing arts, he has been a performing songwriter, music producer, actor, and teacher.
Tom honed his own one-of-a-kind performing songwriter craft during the 1990s, delivering more than 1000 campus concerts throughout the United States. Alongside this college run, Tom brought his song and performance skills to the television show Star Search (7-time winner in 1994) and to the stage with the broadway musical Fame, as the originator of a lead role, Nick Piazza.
