PiP Festival Prelude
Join Mayo Street Arts as we celebrate the opening of Puppets in Portland's (PiP) inaugural year!
Prelude: an action or event serving as an introduction to something more important.
Enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and libations with which to toast visiting artists and the opening of PiP’s inaugural year. Meet your world neighbors from Jordan, the Czech Republic, Germany, Kenya, USA, and right here in Maine.
Prelude offers an opportunity for members of the Portland community to welcome these highly revered, mind-bending, humanist, movers & shakers of the puppetry world to Maine. This intimate gathering with live music will provide you with time to connect with these gifted artists while also enjoying the company of fun folk from around town.

Proceeds from ticket sales help to lay the foundation for a larger, biannual event spanning two weekends and additional venues!
