A FREE fun-filled celebration in Presque Isle!
Pack up the kids, bring your lawn chairs and join the City of Presque Isle and Elks Lodge 1954 for a fun-filled FREE celebration! On July 3, enjoy the beautiful fireworks at dark as they appear over the Presque Isle Stream along Riverside Drive. On July 4, have a great day FREE courtesy of the City and the Elks. From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. along Riverside Drive in front of the Pavilion (19 Riverside Drive), check out the car show and eat a hot dog at the Elks cook-out while enjoying live music.
At 11:30 am, take a short drive out to the James School, a restored one-room schoolhouse on the Niles Road, for a flag raising and reading of the Declaration of Independence - also a free event.
From 2:00 to 6:00 pm, take in the free family-oriented activities along Riverside Drive including a Bounce House, Child Fingerprinting by the Presque Isle Police Department, and more.
At 6:00 pm, get out your dancing shoes as you experience the fabulous sounds of Star City Syndicate - a 19-member band with full brass section playing a wide array of tunes including Motown!
