Geoff Nuttall Tribute Concert
Bay Chamber Concerts Presents: Geoff Nuttall Tribute Concert Thursday, August 10 | 7:30pm | Camden Opera House
This concert pays tribute to longtime friend of Bay Chamber and esteemed collaborator, violinist Geoff Nuttall who passed away on October 19 last year. The program for this concert features music that uses variation and transformation and includes Schubert's remarkable example of the theme and variations form, showcasing both the composer's gift for melody and his ability to create diverse musical textures and moods. In addition to Livia, the concert also features Alexi Kenney, a violinist who is forging a truly spectacular career; multi–GRAMMY Award-winning composer and violist of the Attacca Quartet Nathan Schram, internationally acclaimed Canadian cellist Arlen Hlusko, bassist from the celebrated Toomai Quintet, Andrew Roitstein, and revered Bay Chamber regular, pianist Pedja Mužijević.
