Emilia Dahlin

11/5/21

Emilia will be sharing some newer songs in one of her only Portland-area performances for the remainder of the year. She'll be taking advantage of the intimate setting to share some songs that she rarely plays live.

Wielding a voice that defies the size of her body and strong storytelling sensibilities, Emilia Dahlin has carved out her name as a unique songstress. She weaves mesmerizing tales (complete with Greek myths, robotic messiahs, epic floods, and tax evaders) with raw, rootsy folk and dynamic jazz vocals. Her well-crafted songs sound as if they've been left outside where time and weather have worn cracks for the wind to whip through. Her sky-rocketing energy is delivered with honesty.

Friday, November 5 at 7:00 PM Doors open at 6:30 PM; 90-minutes with an intermission Purchase any ticket and gain admission to the 11/6 Songs of Comfort songwriting workshop for $15 instead of $25! No one will be turned away for lack of funds; contact MSA at 207-879-4629 or info@mayostreetarts.org for information on our sliding scale admission policy.
