Join Presque Isle Historical Society aboard Molly the Trolley for a special Labor Day tour. This two-hour tour visits around 20 sites around town of which many people have never heard about or seen such as the abandoned ski jump at the State Park, the Canadian & Pacific Railroad turn-about. the Model T chassis embedded in the stream, the old jail in the historic fire station, the site from which the 1959 National Christmas Tree was cut, the former home of a nationally renowned salmon fisherman now a popular local restaurant eligible for listing on National Register of Historic Sites, and one of the first military listening posts in the world. Seats limited and reservations required. Rain or shine! Tours depart the Historic Fire Station, 11 Church Street, at 1:00 p.m. and last approximately two hours. Tickets $10 per person.
