13 Scotland Road | Blues & Roots
13 Scotland Road is a rare and dynamic blues and acoustic roots band.
The New Jersey group now living in Portland, combines one of the most unique slide guitar players that you’ll ever hear in Bill Binford, with the soulful blues singing voice and harmonica playing of Aaron Seglin. The band's sound is rounded off by stellar and melodic rock guitarist Benny Andreasen.
13 Scotland Road is celebrating their first single release and music video, Been Down that Road. The single was mixed in Muscle Shoals, Alabama by Fame studio engineer John Gifford and mastered by Grammy-winning engineer and Portland resident, Bob Ludwig. They’ll also be performing songs from their debut EP, featuring songs like The Weather, Smokestack Lighting, Boom, and Sometimes.
They’ll be several surprise guests and appearances including producer Lance Bendiksen, who has worked with Sony, Arista, and RCA records. The night will also feature the first public airing of the Music Video, Been Down that Road, a celebrity emcee, and a Q&A with the band and producer after the concert.
