Vela Muscongus

Sail Muscongus offers private boat trips through the quiet, working waters of Muscongus Bay. Charters take place aboard Miss Conduct, a 28-foot wooden lobster boat built in the 1960s in South Bristol and restored for small-group experiences. Trips last up to two hours, depending on wind and sea conditions, and may include hauling lobster traps, passing historic lighthouses and watching for seals or porpoises along the way. With a U.S. Coast Guard limit of six passengers, trips are well suited for intimate experiences such as weddings, anniversaries and other private celebrations. Guests are welcome to bring food and drinks, and pets are allowed on private charters. Parking is available once trips are scheduled.
