Portland Downeasters

Visitors curious about barbershop harmony are welcome to experience it firsthand with the Portland Downeasters Barbershop Chorus. Rehearsals are open to the public, offering an inside look at how one of New England’s top vocal ensembles prepares its signature sound. Prospective members are encouraged to attend, listen in or join a rehearsal alongside singers of varied ages, backgrounds and experience levels.
