Crooked Steeple Hall is a restored historic event venue in Winterport, housed in a former church known for its distinctive crooked steeple. For more than a century, the building has been part of the town’s story, hosting community gatherings before undergoing a thoughtful, multi-year renovation.
Original woodwork and tin walls remain intact, paired with modern updates that allow the space to function seamlessly for weddings and private events. The open, flexible floor plan accommodates celebrations of up to 200 guests, with room to design ceremonies, receptions and afterparties within the hall.
Amenities include an onsite bridal suite that can be used for preparation or as a private newlywed suite, a fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, and separate cocktail and gathering areas. Couples receive exclusive use of the hall from Thursday through Sunday, with a venue manager available to coordinate planning and vendor logistics.
The property is a short walk from the riverfront, offering scenic photo opportunities. Directly across the street, the Union Meeting House features terraced lawns and granite steps and may be coordinated as an outdoor ceremony site.
