The Brooks Preservation Society is located at the Brooks Railroad Station. The Brooks Railroad station was constructed in 1892 and is currently listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. The station is where famed Linwood Moody served as the Station Agent. It was here that he wrote the Maine Two Footers.
