Rockland Harbor SW

This light was built by a lighthouse enthusiast as an aid to local navigation, not connected to the Coast Guard or the federal government. It warns mariners of treacherous Seal Ledges and shallow waters nearby. It is privately owned but grounds are open to the public. Reach it by taking Route 73 south from Rockland, turning left on N. Shore Dr., and then left on a dirt road labeled FR C230.
