Your Adaptive Gateway to the Outdoors! The Adaptive Outdoor Education Center is a fully accessible facility providing low-cost, hostel style accommodations in beautiful Carrabassett Valley, Maine. Our purpose is to enhance the quality of life for all people with disabilities through adaptive outdoor recreation and education opportunities, while also being a resource for the general public. Nestled in the Western Mountains of Maine and just minutes away from Sugarloaf, the AOEC takes advantage of its' locale to provide a myriad of exciting adventures in Maine's great outdoors!
