Brooksville Historical Society Museum

Housed in a converted early 20th-century boathouse, the Brooksville Historical Society Museum offers a close look at the town’s maritime and everyday past. The collection includes marine artifacts alongside farming and blacksmith tools, kitchen utensils and other household items that reflect life along the Blue Hill Peninsula. Visitors can explore genealogical resources onsite, including journals, bound family histories and compiled cemetery and vital records. The museum grounds also feature a historic hearse house and gardens that add context to the site.
