Joyce Andersen & Harvey Reid Live Performance

Performing as part of the 25th Annual Festival of Kites, Joyce Anderson, a singing electro-acoustic troubadour, and Harvey Reid, songwriter, renowned multi-instrumentalist, guarantee musical entertainment of amazing quality.
Andersen performs her own music on the violin, accompanying it with vocals, putting "a modern spin on an old art form." She cites among her musical influences a range which includes Billie Holiday, Otis Redding, Sheryl Crowe, The Rolling Stones, and Louis Armstrong.
Reid, who is considered to be one of the modern masters and innovators of the acoustic guitar, autoharp, and 6 string banjo, began his musical journey listening to sixties music on top 40's radio stations when he was a teen, has since absorbed a wide range of musical styles, including acoustic, hip-hop, slashing slide guitar blues, old time Celtic, ragtime, and even classical!
Together, they raise their family in York, Maine while performing locally. You can also find them livestreaming performances on their Puffin and YouTube channels where they have a goal to post a daily new song for one year, until 3/11/26!
