Camden Garden Club

Camden Garden Club is a volunteer organization dedicated to enhancing the natural beauty of the town through seasonal plantings and community projects. The club maintains flower baskets on lampposts in summer, winter wreaths and gardens at the Public Landing, Village Green and traffic medians, along with additional beautification efforts throughout Camden. Among its special projects is the installation of a children’s amphitheater at Laite Beach. Each year on the third Thursday in July, the club presents the Camden House and Garden Tour, with ticket proceeds supporting local beautification projects, horticulture scholarships and opportunities for children to attend Tanglewood 4-H Camp.
