The Emera Astronomy Center is located at the University of Maine, the University of Maine System flagship campus in Orono. It includes the Maynard F. Jordan Planetarium. The Maynard F. Jordan Observatory is behind the center. The observatory is used by the university's Physics and Astronomy departments, students, faculty, and the general public.
