Established in 1977 by Freeport business leaders, Visit Freeport evolved from an organization of member merchants to the premier organization dedicated to marketing Freeport for destination travel and serving the information needs of visitors. Visit Freeport hosts Dirigo Days, Feel Good Freeport, Open Studio Saturday, Flavors of Freeport, Freeport Fall Festival, Sparkle Celebration, Early Bird Sale-A-Bration and The Maine Oyster Festival.
