Founded in 2004 by nine area women, who joined their energy and resources to restore an historic building on Eastport's waterfront, The Commons is an example of a shared creative and community vision. In The Shop-At-The-Commons, we offer the work of 100+ fine artists and artisans, all from the local area. Works include: silk jackets, hand-knit children's sweaters, original jewelry, handmade note cards, pottery, wildlife paintings, and so much more. On the second floor, two glorious fully-furnished two-bedroom seaside vacation suites are available year-round. Call us for information and pricing on short- or long-term rentals.
