Welcome to the Mountain Guide Service of western Maine! As the area's premier guide service, we plan fully-outfitted adventure trips across Maine and around the world. If you want to go hiking, backpacking, canoeing, mountain biking, or simply relax during our yoga retreats, the Mountain Guide Service will help you achieve your goals. We also offer complete trekking packages to Everest Base Camp and Annapurna.

Our Registered Maine Guides are the most experienced and passionate guides in western Maine. They know how to help beginners feel safe and secure and they regularly hike the Appalachian Trail.
