Registered Maine Guides
Maine Outdoor School offers guided, outdoor learning experiences designed for individuals, schools and organizations across Maine. Programs are led by Registered Maine Guides and Naturalist Educators and focus on practical skills such as plant identification, paddling and ecological observation. Visitors can participate in guided hikes and outings or work with staff to create customized educational programs, team-building sessions or professional development rooted in science and the outdoors. The school also provides guest talks and workshops and partners with schools to deliver standards-aligned programming. Maine Outdoor School is a co-creator of OWL outings, a series of free, women-focused outdoor experiences led by certified guides and open to a range of ability levels.
