Supporting the Maine Music Society Orchestra and the Androscoggin Chorale

The Maine Music Society was organized to support the artistic and educational activities of the professional players of the Maine Music Society Orchestra and the Androscoggin Chorale. It was the purpose of the founders of the Maine Music Society to create a cultural institution based in Lewiston-Auburn that would endure by providing some of the essential grace that characterizes civilized, urban living. The Maine Music Society is a professional music-performing organization resident in central Maine, which seeks to serve the area communities through a commitment to bring performances to the public, through educational and youth-oriented activities, through imaginative programming, and through artistic excellence.
