Island Tours

Island Tours provides historic sightseeing tours of Peaks Island. Tours are given on a six-passenger golf cart and depart three times per day, daily during the summer. Tours include a stop at Battery Steele, a WW II fort and Whaleback. Tours last 60 minutes and can be customized according to passenger interests. Peaks Island is a small, picturesque island located 20 minutes by ferry boat from Portland. The island boasts three museums, beaches, three restaurants, a cafe, a grocery store, an ice cream store and bike rentals. Peaks Island is a perfect day trip for both families and seniors alike.
