Secluded Tiny Rustic Log Cabin with Amazing Mountain Views - (Bethel/Rangeley area) **An Authentic Maine Log Cabin in the Woods with Amazing Panoramic Mountain Views.**

Located between Rangeley and Bethel, the tiny town of Andover has the same beautiful mountains, abundant wildlife, remote hiking, snowmobile and ATV trails, but without all the tourists! At the end of a dirt road just before the Appalachian Trail crosses through the notch, sits this secluded, off-grid, authentic tiny log cabin on a private wooded ridge. Sweeping views of the valley and mountains are enjoyed right from your porch.

The cute cozy clean log cabin offers something you won't find anywhere; a 70 acre tract at the end of scenic Skyline Drive, surrounded by thousands of acres of wilderness. Luxury camping with a roof over your head to keep out the rain, and a wood stove to keep you warm. Includes water, firewood, linens, silverware, dishes, pots, pans, towels, sheets. Bring your clothes, food and you! Enjoy peaceful panoramic mountain views, and quiet forest. Non-electric, so no TV, no noise, no people. Read, play board games, talk. Travel back to a simpler time.

On the way: driving north on Rt 5, past the expansive fields of hay with mountains as their backdrop, you reach the tiny town of Andover, this is the end of the highway. Through the village, another five miles north of town, you drive off the pavement, continuing along the babbling brook for a mile; deeper and further into the mountains. Another mile, winding through a beautiful birch forest on the dappled gravel road, brings you to the top of Skyline Ridge. You are there. Hike or snowshoe the remaining 1000 feet to your cabin.

Hunt, fish, snowshoe, XC ski, hike, ATV trail direct access, snowmobile direct access to ITS 82; thousands of acres of forest, trails, streams, secret waterfalls, pools, all at your doorstep. Appalachian Trail just 2 miles north. Kayak Richardson or Umbagog Lakes and see nesting eagles, or Aziscohos Lake and see a blue heron rookery. Canoe the Androscoggin River, ski or zip line at Sunday River Resort, fish Rangeley Lake, both just a short ride away.

Luxurious king size log bed, full futon, clean, odor-free compost toilet and seasonal solar shower/sink in bright/clean bathhouse. Fully equipped with linens, paper goods, kitchen tools. Just bring your food and clothing. Gas grill, gas range/oven, gas lights, firepit, woodstove; firewood, water provided. Pet friendly!
