Seasonal Hours
Boundless Local Tour Company was started in 2023 to share the history and culture of Maine with visitors. We offer seasonal walking tours of Bar Harbor and Machias and hope to expand to further Downeast day tours within the next five years, highlighting smaller towns and more authentic experiences connecting guests with the coast of Maine. Our mission is to engage our customers in the lives of Mainers past and present. Teaching visitors about the many important fishing industries that have allowed Maine to thrive economically is an important facet of our Bar Harbor tour, while the Machias tour focuses on the town's role as the first Naval battle of the American Revolution. At the end of the tour, we want to leave people with an impression of the uniqueness of Maine and its people. (And with good directions to the nearest lobster roll!)
