Some of the highlights this year will be more merchants including ReiM, a Renaissance clothing boutique that will have a dressing rom and do alterations onsite; Shining Moon Whole Health Center which will offer Reiki sessions on site, as well as the return of the Recycled Shakespeare Company and harpist Amy Gagnon Kercsmar, along with a performance by County Kids Theatre Company and Coriandra’s Caravan a musical ensemble performing musical selections influenced by this year’s theme and time periods. The fighters from WARG will return to do swordplay and archery instruction and this year Aria Stewart, henna artist, will be on site in the Glen area with her husband at Wanderer’s Hermitage. Children’s activities and an art gallery competition similar to the Festival of Trees will also be part of this year’s festivities. A [website](https://limestonerenfaire.org/) has been developed for this event which is up and running; people can also see updates on the [Limestone Renaissance Faire Facebook page](https://www.facebook.com/lmrf2019). Funding for the event is always necessary, and as with any specialized event such as this it takes a lot to pull it off successfully, so we are reaching out to local businesses and organizations asking for help sponsoring LMRF which will cover the costs for performers, demonstrators, activity supplies for the event, insurance for the event, and other associated venue costs. Sponsorships are done at different levels each with a medieval title, and those who send funds are mentioned on the LRF Facebook page, the Twin Riverswood Facebook page and will be in the program given out at the ticket booth on the 14th and 15th. Twin Riverswood will have their display and Tinker’s Dame where some members of the non profit will have their booths with wares for sale, and on the 10th there will be a Knight and Damsels Tea for children 3 and up with activities and refreshments. The Ren Faire goes rain or shine unless there is really inclement weather, so those who wish to attend are encouraged to bring umbrellas if necessary. There are still openings for people who wish to volunteer to help Twin Riverswood put on the event, do a demo or merchant wares that would have been used in the time period from 1400-1600, and the organization is currently looking for food vendors to provide foodstuffs that would have been eaten in the time frame ( meat pies, roasted meats, pastries, etc} as well as other delicacies for the event. Merchants and food vendors have a modest fee to pay to have a 10x10 space and must provide their own pavilion/ canopy as well as any energy source they may need.
