Train enthusiasts and families alike are invited to enjoy a day of miniature railroad magic at the Great Falls Model Railroad Club's Annual Spring Train Show, set to take place on Saturday, April 26th, 2024, from 10 AM to 3 PM at Mt. Ararat High School in Topsham.
The event will showcase a variety of model trains in different scales, all built by dedicated railroaders from across Maine. Throughout the day, visitors will have the chance to watch these trains operate on intricate layouts, offering a glimpse into the artistry and craftsmanship of model railroading.
Vendors from throughout New England will also be on hand, offering a wide selection of new and used model railroad equipment, books, and other train-related memorabilia. Whether attendees are seasoned collectors or new to the hobby, the vendors will be available to answer questions and provide expert advice.
In addition to the trains and merchandise, attendees can enjoy refreshments available for purchase. All proceeds from the sale of food and drinks will benefit the Mt. Ararat Booster's Club, supporting local school and sports programs.
Admission to the Spring Train Show is just $5 for adults, with free entry for children ages 12 and under. The event offers a unique opportunity for families to explore the world of model trains and support a great cause in the community.
