Fall Volunteer Wood Stacking

Volunteer Day: Wood Stacking at Poplar Stream Hut 

When: Thursday, October 1, 2026 | 9 AM - 1 PM
Where: Meet at Airport Trailhead
Rain Backup: Thursday, October 8th

Help us get Poplar Stream Hut ready for winter! We'll spend the morning moving and stacking wood, with the possibility of some light trail work on Larry's and Warren's backcountry trails.

Family Friendly! All ages welcome. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Food: Pack a trail lunch to enjoy at the hut. We'll keep you fueled with light snacks and Gatorade throughout the morning.

What to Wear/Bring:

• Breathable pants + long sleeve shirt
• Hooded long sleeve or neck gaiter (extra bug/sun barrier)
• Tall socks (tuck your pants in to keep ticks out!)
• Bug net
• Hat for shade
• Work gloves
• Bug spray & sunscreen
