Concert: Misty Mountain Singers

August 13, 2026

"We come together in harmony as a pathway towards weaving community, celebrating beauty, finding strength for healing, and uniting in joy!"

Enjoy a special concert by the Misty Mountain Singers, a community choir with singers from Blue Hill Peninsula and beyond.

Founded by Meg O'Dell, Misty Mountain Singers fosters communities united in harmony. Meg is devoted to cultivating wholeness and connection through her work as a somatic coach, facilitator, teacher, mentor, and song leader.

As a mentor and facilitator, she supports teachers, faculty, and organizational teams in building cohesion and clarity in their individual and collective voice. As a music teacher at The Bay School, she invites children into a joyful, participatory relationship with song.

Meg also serves as Adjunct Professor for Antioch University's MEd in Waldorf Education and CfA's Waldorf High School Teacher Education Program (WHiSTEP). She is a regular instructor for the Renewal Conferences and Explorations. She received her M.Ed and Waldorf Certification from Antioch University in 2008 and her B.A. from Connecticut College in 2000.

This summer, the Ellsworth Public Library (EPL) is inviting residents and visitors alike to make the library part of their summer plans. From July through August, the library will offer 120 free programs for all ages, bringing the community together through live entertainment, outdoor adventures, summer reading, hands-on activities, and opportunities to learn, create, and connect.

Among the highlights is the library's signature Thursday Nights at the Library series, beginning July 2 at 6 p.m., featuring author talks, live music, and community events. Families can also look forward to Wednesday Night Performances starting July 1 at 6 p.m.
