Homeport Inn is a historic sea captain’s mansion in Searsport, originally built in 1861 for Captain John P. Nichols. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the property has been restored as a nine-room bed-and-breakfast.
The inn is located along Route 1 between Bar Harbor and Camden, within walking distance of downtown Searsport and the Penobscot Marine Museum. Guest rooms include refrigerators, coffee service, televisions and Wi-Fi throughout the inn. A homemade breakfast is served daily.
