Captain Bennis House is a historic lodging property built in 1875 and located along the Schoodic National Scenic Byway, overlooking Frenchman Bay and Mount Desert Island. The Down East–style home sits about 15 minutes from Ellsworth, with convenient access to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor.
Guests stay in the Captain’s Quarters, a two-level suite located in the front of the property’s carriage house.
