Seguin Island Light Station

Seguin Island Light Station was built in 1796 as Maine’s first offshore station. The 53-foot-tall light sits on a small island about 1.5 miles from the mouth of the Kennebec River. It also has red brick keeper’s quarters. You can see this light from Popham Beach or visit the lighthouse grounds and museum from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
