Ram Island Light
Maine has twenty-one Ram Islands. This one, in Boothbay Harbor, hosts a stubby light tower linked to the island by a long walkway. It was built in 1883. The keeper’s house was built inland. You can view the light from the mainland or while on a cruise. For more information about the lighthouse, contact the Grand Banks Schooner Museum Trust.
