Summer Chamber Music Festivals

Maine is also renowned for its summertime chamber music and classical festivals. They often celebrate chamber music as it was meant to be experienced: in living rooms and parlors, surrounded by family and friends. In addition to hearing live performances with some of the finest chamber musicians in the world, audiences mingle with these artists in an informal setting and share musical insights and personal connections.

Outdoor Concerts and Music Venues

There’s nothing quite like enjoying live music as the sun sets and the stars come out to listen. Maine has numerous wonderful community-based outdoor concert series. Most take place near the water – along Maine’s vibrant waterfronts and rivers.
