Crews are working on major road and bridge construction projects in Maine which could affect your drive into and through the state.

The “Maine Ahead” project is rebuilding the Piscataqua River Bridge, which brings the Maine Turnpike into Maine from New Hampshire. It is also rebuilding the nearby York Toll Plaza.

Farther north, crews are rebuilding parts of downtown Wiscasset, including Route 1.

The Maine Department of Transportation is posting detailed information and frequent updates on these projects, which can help you plan your travels and avoid delays.
