Georgetown & Arrowsic
Small bridges connect the islands of Arrowsic and Georgetown to the mainland near Bath in Maine's Midcoast region.
Arrowsic is secluded between the Sasanoa, Back and Kennebec Rivers. The jagged borders of Arrowsic are home to four lighthouses—and for its 500 year-round residents, that means one lighthouse for every 125 people. In the village of Georgetown, you can walk along trails at the Josephine Newman Wildlife Sanctuary or along the dunes at Reid State Park.
