Kezar Lake

Nestled in the foothills of the White Mountains, Kezar Lake has appealed to visitors who simply want to get away and enjoy the serene peace of lakeside living. The long, slender lake primarily runs through the town of Lovell, only 15 minutes from Fryeburg. Loved by anglers for bass fishing in summer and smelt fishing when the lake is iced over, Kezar Lake is heralded as one of Maine’s quietest, complete with stunning views of Mount Washington and the Presidential Range.

Numerous lodging options, many of which date back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, welcome visitors with unparalleled comfort and relaxation. The Quisisiana Resort is a Full American Plan resort so three delicious meals as well as nightly music and entertainment are included. The neighboring Lodge at Pleasant Point has well-appointed rooms in the lodge as well as cottage rentals. There are boat slips available for Dock and Dine if you want to just enjoy a meal at Lodge as well and in the winter, it’s conveniently located by snowmobile trails. In Center Lovell, a charming little village, you can stay at The Center Lovell Inn. The old farmhouse, built in 1803, has ten guest rooms and a restaurant with beautiful mountain views. In town, stop by the Center Lovell Market to grab a quick bite to eat
