Sol's Cliff House is a historic summer cottage set on a cliff above Frenchman Bay, commissioned in 1913 by novelist Arthur Train and one of the last surviving cottages of Bar Harbor's Gilded Age. The ocean views are unobstructed from the house and the grounds.

The house sleeps 22 across 12 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. It borders Acadia National Park, with downtown Bar Harbor a mile away and the shore a 10-minute walk.

Family-owned and rented by the week from late May through mid-October, it's an original Bar Harbor summer house with more than a century of history. We hope you come stay with us!
