Smuggler’s Den Campground

Smuggler’s Den Campground provides a relaxed base for exploring Mount Desert Island. The campground features more than 100 sites for tents, pop-ups, campers and RVs, along with weekly rentals. Days often begin on nearby Acadia National Park hiking trails, many within walking distance, or with a short drive to island highlights like Echo Lake Beach and Sand Beach. Back at camp, guests can unwind with a heated pool and kiddie pool, clean bathhouses with free hot showers and a setting designed for family-friendly camping close to nature.
