Delighting audiences each year through its annual summer concerts held in Cornish, Maine
Since its founding in 1976, the Saco River Festival Association has earned a respected reputation in bringing distinguished musicians to delight audiences each year through its annual summer concerts held in Cornish, Maine. Co-founded by Frank and Ruth Glazer, the Festival Association serves the cultural interests of the Sacopee Valley and contiguous areas in Cumberland, York, and Oxford counties and that part of New Hampshire bordering Southwestern Maine. Since the Glazers launched the organization from their 19th-century farmhouse in Porter, the group has gathered a devoted following and has hosted over 300 national and internationally known artists and numerous Maine based groups who have performed hundreds of different works from major classical literature.
